CHILLER WATER COOLING SYSTEM

Chilling groups cool the reserve water in the system. This water can serve for ambient cooling by passing through fan coils or air handling units and a comfort class can be used. It is preferred in buildings such as hospitals, shopping malls, hospitals, high business centers. Cooling group is used in industrial installation, cooling of machinery equipment, cooling of a chemical behavior as in plant coatings, ventilation of plastic industrial molds and in many processes.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL CHILLER GROUPS
We talked about the most known and used chiller function of chillers so far. However, chiller groups also provide services such as cooling only or heating, simultaneous heating and cooling, domestic hot water. And most of them can be achieved free of charge thanks to its heat recovery feature. HEAT RECOVERY COOLING GROUP As the chillers perform cooling operation, they also perform heating operation in another place. Usually this waste heat is wasted and released to the environment. However, the waste heat can be transferred to another place with partial or full heat recovery of the chiller. The best example of this is the production of domestic hot water, as long as the device cools, it can heat the water in a boiler free of charge. Especially the chiller group used in industrial facilities try to cool it in summer and winter. The heat, which is the waste of this cooling process, can be used for domestic hot water or administrative building heating.
HEAT PUMP CHILLER
Almost everyone has heard of domestic heat pumps used in individual comfort applications. Heatpump chillers can be considered as much larger capacity of these devices. In comfort applications, they function as cooling in summer and heating in winter. To put it simply, there is a 4-way valve on the device. The hot gas coming from the compressor can be sent to the condenser if cooling is required in the system, and to the evaporator if heating is required.
4 PIPE CHILLER
Two of the 4 pipes on the device are hot water return and the other two are cold water return. Heating and cooling can be done at the same time, and thanks to heat recovery, one of these jobs can be done free of charge. In order to use heat recovery, the heating and cooling loads do not need to be equal, the missing part is completed with the heat taken from or given off the secondary heat exchangers. Thanks to these secondary heat exchangers, the devices can only heat or cool. Especially during the seasonal transitions, while cooling is desired in the areas facing the outside in high-rise buildings, heating may be requested in the interior spaces and vice versa. In this way, different comfort applications can be realized simultaneously for areas that are independent from each other. 4-pipe chiller groups are also used in industry. For example, as a result of the reaction in a coating facility, some pools may need to be cooled, while others may need to be heated.
