Chiller Water Cooling Units
Chiller
Industrial chiller chillers are used in a variety of applications where chilled water or liquid is circulated through process equipment. Widely used to cool products and machinery, water chillers are used in a multitude of different applications including injection molding, tool and die cutting, food and beverage, chemicals, lasers, machine tool, semiconductors and more.
The function of the chiller is to move heat from one place (usually process equipment or product) to another (usually the air outside the production plant). It is very common to use water or a water/glycol solution to transfer heat to and from the chiller; this may require the process chiller to have a reservoir and pumping system. Whatever your industry and process, making sure you have adequate cooling is critical to productivity and cost savings.
Why is Chiller Cooler Used?
The biggest cause of inefficiency in processes is heat. If this heat is not removed, it will build up over time causing reduced production times, equipment shutdowns and even premature equipment failure. To avoid these problems, it is necessary to incorporate cooling into the industrial process system design. There are many benefits to using a chiller to provide cooling. The chiller provides consistent temperature and pressure for your industrial process. Elimination of temperature and pressure variables simplifies process development and optimization, ensuring the highest quality product. Instead of a wasteful, single pass system, a chiller recirculates the coolant. Recirculation minimizes the cost of expensive and environmentally unfriendly water consumption.
